Microcitrus,
the project that Timur has been working on
since the spring 2009, has just yielded two new tracks.
Funkadelic Synthementality, a swingy easy listening piece combining psychedelically translucent piano lines
dissolving in space and aggressive synthetic funky riffs.
This track was the first in 2010. It emerged
from a short demo pattern that was
made together with The Herald of Winds while Timur was showing him
how to make
stuff.
Crystallisation,
the sono-rhythmic madness that has been seeking its way to the world
since autumn 2010 only with the beginning of spring 2011
crystallised into this screaming and boiling mixture rocking in the
hypnotic shamanic trance and writhing in the frenzy of syncopated
synthetic riffs.
When The Herald of Winds heard Timur jamming under Crystallisation the first
thing he asked was how many kilos of weed Timur had used to make this.
…And the other unreleased tracks are waiting
for their time…
The first track is
Breath, an atmospheric dance
piece. Produced in the end of July 2009 this composition is based upon a steady
rhythm section combined with punchy synth riffs and sharp melody lines. The
legend says when Timur was working on
Breath he was imagining
The Herald of Winds getting high and dancing electro.
Suspended, the second
track, the work on wich was started almost a year ago on the 18
th of August
2009. This is something totally different compared to the first track.
Suspended emerges from an
atmospheric texture that constitutes its constant ambient background and
developes into a rich psychedelic landscape floating over weird synth bass lines.
Gareth Owen wrote a very nice
review
of the Titles EP for
Electronic Beats, the international
music and lifestyle program by Telekom centred around live music and club events
throughout Europe’s metropoles. Basically a cool Berlin-based magazine and
website.

The work on Suspended was started on the 18th of August 2009. Its inherent psychedelic mood reminds of H.U.V.A Network and The Infinity Project. Music track for Revz, arcade-style action game by Jason Cecil. Very dark and aggressive.
Minimalistic funky breakbeat. Started late at night on 2009-02-22 and finished next morning.
A positive and catchy disco tune. Started on 2009-02-16 and after a pause finished on 2009-02-21.
2003. One more old track.
2003. Wow! I've found some of my old tracks. Here's one.
November 2004. This one is Matvey's favourite. Enjoy dude! =)
